Flying high for customer service

Bristol Airport is celebrating an award win for the coveted title of Best Airport in Europe, for providing a positive customer experience.

The destination received the Airport Service Quality Award for airports in the five to 15 million passengers per annum category, after last year being given the same accolade in the five to ten million category. 

Bristol Airport, which is eight miles from the city centre and serviced by a 24-hour train link, is autism-friendly, and earlier this year opened a new multi-faith quiet area in its departure lounge. 

The Airports Council International (ACI) World, a non-profit organisation running the awards, revealed the winners after conducting regular surveys with passengers asking about topics such as cleanliness, security and ambience.
