The new development manager for a build-to-rent (BTR) housing company has highlighted the economic benefits for the regeneration of Bedminster Green.
Zoe Sharpe has started a new role this month at Dandara Living, which will station her in Bristol to work on future projects in the area.
The company’s planning application for the Bedminster Green development, located between East Street and Bedminster Station, was submitted in December 2018.
Dandara Living intends to create 329 BTR homes, which subject to planning permission, would mean apartments would be available by late 2021.
The homes will be a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments with parking, and will feature on-site amenities including a gym, lounge, high-speed broadband and a shopping delivery service.
The homes will be offered with leases for up to three years, with the aim to encourage a sustainable community.

Property consultancy firm JLL has predicted more than 2,000 new build-to-rent apartments could be created in Bristol by 2021.
