Housing minister Robert Jenrick has rubber-stamped plans for a major new music venue and entertainment complex in Bristol.
Plans for the 17,080-capacity YTL Arena Complex to be created on Filton Airfield were given the green light by the government this month (April).
Bristol City Council's planning committee approved plans for Britain's third largest arena in March.
“It is a huge step forward for everybody in Bristol and the region”, said Andrew Billingham, managing director of YTL Arena Complex, and added: “During the current Covid-19 crisis this is especially welcomed news.”
